作为微软打击索尼PS3的重磅炸弹，Epic为Xbox 360开发的《战争机器》(Gears Of War)已经正式发布，不日即可抢在PS3登场之前上市。

从去年8月的E3 2005开始，基于虚幻3引擎的《战争机器》就一直备受期待，但不断的开发过程让玩家颇受煎熬，而且游戏制作成本也据称高达1000万美元，直到日前才宣告开发完成，前后耗费了Epic二三十人两年的时光。

游戏正式发布后，各大游戏网站都相继进行了评测，并打出了很高的分数，1up甚至给出了100分的满分!
