vegan silk scarf

I think I can’t mentally come to terms with having to work on it straight for the next couple of months. To compensate I’ve been making procrastination projects that yield a quick finished object – case in point would be the scarf that I just crocheted. It took me less than 24 hours to make and was a breeze once I got the pattern down.
The scarf is the Vegan Silk Scarf by Julia Redman and the yarn is Bernat Bamboo Natural Blends. The yarn is super soft and was great to work with. Normally I don’t like fringe on scarves, but I prefer it on this one. It just looked so naked without it. This is the first project I’ve crocheted in a very long while.
I think I may start on a pair of fingerless gloves while trying to get going on the afghan.
