Big Things Coming From Battlefield 3 at E3 2011

Battlefield 3 just might have one more trick up its sleeve in the competition for sales this fall with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.  EA who has made no secret of it’s intent to dethrone the biggest name in gaming, has developed Battlefield 3 specifically to do just this.  Now that the line in the sand is drawn by Activision, who recently announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be releasing on November 8th. The next we’ll hear from either Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3 is at this years E3.

Part of the agressive marketing plans of the Electronic Arts for Battlefield 3, will be a big reveal at E3 2011.  The company has said to have been holding out on showing any more from Battlefield 3 until E3, where they will be “debuting new gameplay”, an EA spokesperson told Industry Gamers.

No release date has been set for Battlefield 3, which is likely to be announced at E3 2011.
