EA公司为纪念《命令与征服》系列诞生十周年而专门制作的《命令与征服：十年版》（Command & Conquer The First Decade）于2006年2月7日上市。
经典即时战略游戏《命令与征服》自1995年上市以来，全系列产品，包括续作和其他的副产品，总共售出了2300万套。《命令与征服》系列也是游戏史上唯一的资料片本身还有资料片的游戏系列。EA洛杉机工作室的Louis Castle，也是Westwood的创始人之一，说他当年在开发《命令与征服》的时候，对游戏的前景感动到激动的颤抖，他说：“当年游戏玩家们对这款新型战略游戏的狂热程度令我们幸福地颤抖，当时的情景仿佛就在昨天。”
