按照Activision公司与其它两家游戏开发公司的协议表明，Infinity Ward公司负责该系列偶数代作品的开发，而Treyarch则担任其奇数代作品的开发。由此可知，《使命召唤 4》必将出自Infinity Ward公司之手，并且为PC及家用机多平台发售。) \ T2 w9 r) W2 K! s
目前，几张极具震撼力与逼真程度的《使命召唤 4》的图片被流传出来，但根据目前各次世代主机及主流PC的机能上讲，要想表现出这种效果还不太可能。

* Call of Duty 4 will be coming to the PC as well as consoles. Where as Call of Duty 3 is only available on consoles, as well as the PSP.
