MAPDESCRIPTION_operation_barracudaAmerican forces recently gained intelligence of a PLA occupied island located in the South China Sea. The island, a relic of the second world war, is littered with the remnanats of the Japanese base and costal defences that once fortified it. The PLA have made use of these fortifications and also carried out some hasty repairs to make the islands valuable airstrip functional once again.
The Chinese primary mission however, is to use the island as a site for a missile silo, in the hopes of using it to strike American bases in neighbouring countrys. A Marine task force has been deployed to secure the island before the Missile silo becomes operational.
MAPDESCRIPTION_operation_ghost_trainAs British forces push deeper into Chinese held territory, they run into stiff resistance in this dense region of jungle. Intelligence reports suggest the train line, which snakes through the area, is being used to ferry supplies and reinforcements to the front lines, thus making it an important strategic target.
PLA troops are deployed to defend the region at all costs, using a series of pill boxes and bunkers, as well as the natural terrain, as their defensive positions, in what will prove to be a tough fight for both sides.
MAPDESCRIPTION_muttrah_city_2After the Marine landings at the Gulf of Oman, a large number of MEC retreated along the coast to Muttrah City. It is believed the MEC forces will use this quiet port, so far relatively untouched by the fighting, as a last ditch attempt to keep a hold on the area. As the MEC dig in, elements of the Marine Reaction Force ready themselves aboard a carrier, positioned a few miles out in the bay. With no armour support, the Marines will be relying on infantry tactics and the skill of the marine pilots, to retake this port in a daring amphibious landing, which could deliver a knock out blow to the Middle Eastern Coalition in Oman, once and for all.
MAPDESCRIPTION_kyonganniTwo weeks ago the NKPA wrested control of Kyongan'Ni's vital high-capacity bridgehead from the ROK. Recently overextended into the southwestern plains by our ally's retrograde operations, the NKPA armored companies were drawn into open country and crushed by close air support and armored units of the 3rd MEU. With the collapse of mobile enemy resistance, Marines launch a hasty offensive to exploit the breach. PLA Forces will be fighting hard to hold the small village in the area, supported by the small garrison further up river.
MAPDESCRIPTION_qwai_riverUS forces in China have almost reached the Qwai River. They are now preparing themselves for the final bound towards it, despite the heavy Chinese presence in the area. The area around the Qwai River is of vital strategic importance to both sides. Securing this area will provide the US forces with a foothold that will let them stay in the region indefinitely. The Chinese troops know this, and they prepare themselves to defend the area, thereby possibly preventing further US advancement into mainland China.
MAPDESCRIPTION_ramielThe United States Army with the aid of the UN have re-entered the wartorn nation of Somalia. This peacekeeping operation is initiated after growing concerns from human right's organizations. MAPDESCRIPTION_sunset_cityAfter Securing Dragon valley the US forces have moved onto their next target: Sunset City. Managing to occupy a gas station, they are preparing for the assault, a pitched battle through the streets of Sunset City to their goal; a PLA military base just north of the city. Fresh PLA forces have just arrived, the fighting ahead is expected to be fierce.
MAPDESCRIPTION_tad_saeAs the Chinese War machine builds up strength its demand for resources and manpower increase with every battle they fight, the once sleepy village of Tad Sae has seen its beautiful surroundings taken over by the PLA for its needs with the river providing a vital resupply route.
It is here that the US forces striking behind Chinese lines chose to make their next attack with the aim of disrupting the Chinese forces as much as possible reliving the pressure upon other US units in the wider area. |
