New York Times counts MW2 as important game this fall
New
York Times on September 10 carried a special article on video games.
The article titled as ‘10 Video Games You Can Count On’ written by
renowned columnist Seth Schiesel, counts Modern Warfare 2 as one of the
important video games releasing this fall.
He says that in recent years many publishers feel that a big game
can succeed only if released after Labor Day. But there is also a
problem with this that there are in pipeline many major games to be
released within weeks of one another and in such a situation many games
sometimes goes unnoticed.
Well, for Modern Warfare 2, Schiesel says that this game will be a
successful game. The writes: “Without question the most anticipated
title of the fall for core gamers, Modern Warfare 2 is expected to
succeed its predecessor as the most sophisticated and intense yet
accessible digital rendition of today’s battlefields. Of course it’s
still a game, but Modern Warfare 2, set largely in Central Asia, is
meant to get players as close to the action as possible without
actually strapping on a flak jacket.”
As the date nears for the released of Modern Warfare 2, there will
be lots of news and features in newspapers and magazines. Do share if
you come across such news. |
