DICE has detailed the three main types of destruction in Battlefield 3, confirming that set-pieces will be largely scripted

Modern Warfare 3 recently touted environmental destruction which turned out to be 'purely scripted', whereas the Battlefield franchise has a tradition of dynamic destruction, which the Frostbite 2 certainly seems set to deliver.

Battlefield 3 Art Director Gustav Tilleby has admitted that not all of the environmental damage will be dynamic however.

"We have the 'micro-destruction' as we call it, which is basically objects that are around the player like cover and so on, you can blow holes through walls and stuff to open up new paths and move through environments," he said.
“我们有我们所称之为‘微破坏’的物理破坏,‘微破坏’基于玩家周围的物体像掩体啊之类的,你可以在墙上或者别的什么上面开个洞然后穿过去开辟新的进攻路线”
"We also have the really big scale destruction like [building] facades and stuff that can crumble and fall over, as well as set-piece destruction - which is more or less scripted, big destruction events."

Each destruction type is shown off in DICE's recent 12-minute 'fault line' Battlefield 3 gameplay video.
每一种破坏都在12分钟的断层线视频中出现过
这可能意味着断层线视频反狙击小队最后用AT4将大楼墙面剥掉一大块的那段爆炸可能是通过脚本实现的,因为那段爆炸显然与AT4的爆炸威力不符,另外也有网友通过慢放视频发现爆炸中的弹头竟有4个爆点,这可能就是DICE所说的脚本化破坏。而最后地震那段楼房倒塌(注意是定向倒塌)也很有可能是通过脚本实现的而不是玩家们所期盼的实时破坏~
