PR_TIP_1To setup a Rally point you need the squad leader plus 2 other squad members. Make sure you always stay near your squad leader so he can quickly set one up.
PR_TIP_3Squad communication is the key to success for a good squad, and a good game. If you don't have a mic or have VOIP enabled, you are limiting your squad's performance, and your team's chance at winning.
PR_TIP_4Check your map to see which control points you need to attack or defend. Misinformation is your worst enemy on the battlefield.
PR_TIP_5If a commander asset needs something built, build it as quickly as possible. Effective use of commander assets is a serious advantage to your team.
PR_TIP_6Limited kits are valuable assets, losing them or using them poorly will negatively affect your team.
PR_TIP_7Set up a forward rally point ASAP. You can always move it later.
PR_TIP_8Ammunition on the battlefield is scarce; make sure you have at least one Rifleman in your squad.
PR_TIP_9Medics are vital to an effective squad; make sure you have one in your squad.
PR_TIP_10Follow the proper chain of command, do as your squad leader says, and do as your commander says.
PR_TIP_11Hide your rally points well, as if it gets destroyed it will set back your squad considerably.
PR_TIP_12When travelling via helicopter, always remember a two minute walk from a safe landing zone is better than a 10 minute wait time for the chopper to respawn after landing in a hot LZ.
PR_TIP_13If you’re thinking about abandoning the vehicle you’re driving in the field, don't forget to come up with an explanation of why your team has to walk to the front when none of the transports respawn.
PR_TIP_14Covering fire is extremely effective at keeping the enemies head down and keeping your squad alive - Use it!.
PR_TIP_15Field repairs are a tanks best friend, but bullets and engineers don't mix. Find a safe place away from the action for some mechanical healin'.
PR_TIP_16Once you take a flag, communicate with your team to organize defence. Don't just rush to the next flag.
PR_TIP_17The number of medics healing a single soldier is directly proportional to the number of grenades that will land in the area. One soldier, one doc, please.
PR_TIP_18Shooting the blackhawks' mini-gun into the ground/ocean is stupid. Please exercise restraint when gunning.
PR_TIP_19Can't hit anything with mounted machine guns? Changing your camera view (default C) may be the answer.
PR_TIP_20Be precise in your VOIP exchanges. "Hostile bearing 295 degrees" is far quicker and more informative than, "Guy behind tree, past those rocks, by that car over there... NO! The other tree!"
PR_TIP_21Killing the enemy is only one aspect of the battlefield, remember your objective and stick to it.
PR_TIP_22Before engaging the enemy, call the location relative to yours and take a breather before engaging.
PR_TIP_23An area attack (or JDAM) not only clears an area, but also provides a very thick smokescreen that your forces can use to assault a position.
PR_TIP_24Extraction/Insertion points should provide cover to both the squad and the vehicle. Hilltops are not ideal.
PR_TIP_25An armour squad without an engineer is like an infantry squad without a medic.
PR_TIP_26If you can't kill it, leave it alone or it will kill you.
PR_TIP_27A Light AT or grenade into a bunker is a much safer way than clearing it with a rifle.
PR_TIP_28Indirect fire from grenade launchers is a very effective way of destroying a defensive line.
PR_TIP_29One direct hit on your tank is enough reason to get repaired.
PR_TIP_30Do not attempt to fly a jet or chopper in a populated server without lots of practice first.
PR_TIP_31Always apologise for TK's. They will happen, but saying sorry is just good manners.
PR_TIP_32Do not attempt to repair a vehicle from behind. If a tank needs to reverse in a hurry all the sprinting in the world won't get you out of the way in time.
PR_TIP_33If you’re the squad leader don’t be afraid to tell individual members of the squad what you want them to do.
PR_TIP_34Call out targets before engaging unless they are immediately threatening you or your squad.
PR_TIP_35If you are trying to get to an objective behind enemy lines, stealth is more important than kills.
PR_TIP_36Special Kits are useful, but not always necesary. Some maps don't require you to go marksmen or sniper at every single possible chance! Play smart, not greedy.
PR_TIP_37It's a good idea to ask your squad leader what kits he needs in the squad. This shows your willing to use teamwork to accomplish a mission.
PR_TIP_38Burst and automatic fire is only useful in close quarters combat.
PR_TIP_39If you join a squad, be prepared to take orders from the squad leader. If this doesn’t suit you, make your own squad.
PR_TIP_40If you are a squad leader, don't be afraid to make decisions and be prepared. Use your squad as a tool to accomplish objectives to the best of your ability.
PR_TIP_41If all else is lost, drop everything and run! Re-grouping with your squad is better than dying needlessly.
PR_TIP_42Check your map often. Note the locations of friendly squads/troops, and flags/areas that are undefended before advancing.
PR_TIP_43Help build commander assets whenever you are asked - even when you are not.
PR_TIP_44Rambo didn't have to worry about bullet deviation. You do - stop moving to increase accuracy.
PR_TIP_45If you're not sure if it's a friend or an enemy, don't shoot, it's probably a friend. Confirm it's an enemy before engaging, not after.
PR_TIP_46It takes a few seconds to ready a bandage before use. Keep this in mind during tight fire-fights.
PR_TIP_47Large numbers of people waiting at the airfield does not make jets spawn any faster. Get in the fight soldier!
PR_TIP_48Ideally, the assaulting team in a flanking manoeuvre should not be seen by the defending enemy during their approach. Make good use of contours in the land and vegetation/buildings.
PR_TIP_49On night operations, be sure to use your NVG's (default 7)
PR_TIP_50Light machine guns are best used from a stationary, prone position.
PR_TIP_51Alt-F4 does not deploy fastropes.
PR_TIP_52You have very little chance of success when it comes to trying to mine/C4 multi-crewed tanks during combat.
PR_TIP_53Keep below ridge-lines when moving across country. Your silhouette against the skyline will make you an easy target.
PR_TIP_54Watch your spacing while moving as a squad! Grenades, C4 and tank HEAT rounds are designed to kill bunched up groups of infantry.
PR_TIP_55As a crewman in a tank, remember, very few things can kill you but you are not invincible. Enemy tanks, infantry in close quarter combat, and aircraft should be engaged on your own terms or avoided if possible.
PR_TIP_56A field dressing is designed to patch up small wounds, not large ones. Seek medical assistance if you are still bleeding after applying the dressing.
PR_TIP_57Ammo bags and supply crates only give ammunition to infantry. Vehicles need to head to a command post, a bunker, or a firebase for ammunition.
PR_TIP_58Light AT is not effective against tanks, so don't waste your shot!
PR_TIP_59Do not shoot unarmed insurgent collaborators (knifing them is the current PR analogy for an arrest)
PR_TIP_60Heavy AT takes a while to deploy. You cannot fire it until it is fully deployed.
PR_TIP_61Landmines destroy vehicles, but they can't tell the difference between friend and foe.
PR_TIP_62Control points take a minimum of 2 players to capture, so stick with your squad.
PR_TIP_63To request a kit, you must be in a squad first, and then use the squad commo rose to request it.
PR_TIP_64Most land vehicles require a crewman kit to operate, so if you can't drive it, hop out.
PR_TIP_65Air vehicles require a pilot’s kit to operate, so make sure you have one if you intend to pilot aircraft.
PR_TIP_66The pilot kit is the only kit with a parachute, so remember that before you do any sky diving.
PR_TIP_67Parachutes require you to be a certain distance in the air before you can deploy it safely. Otherwise you will hit the ground too fast and you will die.
PR_TIP_68Some vehicles have multiple rounds to fire. Use the switch weapon key (default F) to do switch between the different rounds.
PR_TIP_69Multi-crewed vehicles require you to be in the same squad as the driver.
PR_TIP_70Air vehicles have a warm up time before you can take off. Attempting to take off before it has fully warmed up will endanger the aircraft, and the people in and around it.
PR_TIP_71The designated marksman kit is used to provide accurate, long-range fire for your squad. Stay close to your fellow squad members as they are relying on you!
PR_TIP_72A snipers job is to provide information to your team about enemy troop movements, and to disrupt them as much as possible. Enemy officers are your priority. You should operate with a spotter, not on your own.
PR_TIP_73If your vehicle has become disabled, you will need an engineer to repair the damage before you can effectively operate again.
PR_TIP_74APCs are to provide safe transport of troops, and to engage infantry and lightly armoured targets. They are not an effective vehicle to use against main battle tanks.
PR_TIP_75Remember to pick the kit up after you request it. This is done by using the kit pickup key (default G)
